🎓 The RAIN Degree Pathway

Train at RAIN.
Skip the Queue.
Graduate with a B.Sc.

What if your child could skip Year 1 and Year 2 of university — because they already earned those credits at RAIN? No JAMB pressure. No wasted years. Real skills. Real degree. Multiple internationally recognised qualifications.

Here is what parents need to know.
A student who trains at RAIN for 1–2 years earns up to 24 university transfer credits — the equivalent of your first two years of university. They walk straight into Advanced Standing (Year 3) of a fully NUC-accredited B.Sc. degree in Data Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology. They graduate with more qualifications, more skills, and more opportunities than any traditional university route can offer.

Why Not Just Send Them to University?

The same NUC-accredited B.Sc. degree — but one path leaves your child with real skills, multiple certifications, and a head start on their career. The other just gives them a paper.

📌 Note for Parents
At a typical Nigerian university, you may spend ₦4M–₦20M over 4 years — and your child comes out with only a degree, often without the practical skills employers actually want. With RAIN, you spend ₦12.1M total and your child comes out with world-class technical skills, a RAIN certification, a Meta AI Academy certification, and a fully accredited B.Sc. degree — in roughly the same time. That is not a question of affordability. That is a question of which investment actually works.

The RAIN Degree Pathway

Four clear stages. No confusion. No starting from scratch. Every step builds on the last.

01
Train Intensively at RAIN — 12 to 24 Months
Your child joins RAIN's world-class technical residency programme — the most rigorous AI and robotics training facility in Nigeria. They train full-time in Ibadan, working with real hardware, real code, and real projects. They may choose AIML (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning), RDA (Robot Development & Automation), or both. This is not a shortcut — it is an acceleration. They work harder here than at any Nigerian university.

02
Earn Up to 24 University Transfer Credits
Upon completing their RAIN programme, RAIN submits your child's official transcripts, portfolios, and competency evaluations to our NUC-accredited university partner. Through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process, up to 24 university credits are formally awarded — equivalent to clearing the entire first two years of university coursework. This is not informal recognition. It is a legally binding academic transfer within the NUC CCMAS framework.

03
Bridge Semester — Then Straight to Year 3
A short bridge semester covers the NUC-mandated General Studies courses (Mathematics foundations, Communication, Nigerian Studies) not covered by RAIN's technical curriculum. This clears the foundational phase and grants Advanced Standing — your child walks straight into Year 3 (the Degree Specialisation Phase) of their chosen B.Sc. programme: Data Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology. The degree is fully accredited by the National Universities Commission.

04
Graduate with Multiple Qualifications
Your child graduates holding a stack of qualifications that no traditional university route can match. Their RAIN capstone project is co-supervised by RAIN mentors and university faculty — and refined into a publishable research paper or academic thesis. They leave with skills, a portfolio of real projects, industry certifications, and an accredited degree. By 2027, the degree will be issued to international standards — recognised in the USA without requiring foreign credential evaluation (the WES process that Nigerian graduates typically face).

Multiple Qualifications.
One Unified Journey.

No other route in Nigeria — or Africa — produces this combination of credentials from a single training pathway.

Graduation
🇺🇸
USA-Ready Degree by 2027
By 2027, the degree will be internationally recognised in the USA — meaning no WES foreign credential evaluation is needed. Your child can apply to US employers and graduate schools directly.
From 2027
🇺🇸
What is WES — and why does this matter?
When a Nigerian graduate goes to the United States, their degree must typically go through a process called WES (World Education Services) foreign credential evaluation — a costly, time-consuming step that converts their Nigerian qualification into a US-equivalent rating. Many employers and universities in the USA will not even look at your application without it.

By 2027, our partner university will issue degrees at international standards that are directly recognised in the USA without any WES process. That means RAIN graduates — already armed with world-class technical skills — will be able to compete for US internships, jobs, and graduate programmes on equal footing with American university graduates. No conversion. No delays. No disadvantage.

The Full Cost, Plainly Stated.

No hidden fees. No surprises. Here is exactly what the RAIN Degree Pathway costs, compared to going the traditional route.

RAIN Programme (AIML or RDA)
₦7,700,000
12 months full-time. Covers all RAIN tuition, lab access, mentorship, and final project. Payable in instalments. Optional accommodation available on-site in Ibadan.
NUC B.Sc. Degree (2 Academic Sessions)
₦4,200,000
₦2,100,000 per academic session × 2 sessions. Covers Year 3 and Year 4 of the B.Sc. degree at our partner university. Bridge semester included.
RAIN Skill2Degree Pathway Activation Fee
₦200,000
A one-time fee charged when you formally elect to pursue the degree pathway — not at RAIN admission. Covers transcript preparation, competency portfolio compilation, credit transfer coordination, and academic liaison with our university partner. This is the work RAIN does on your behalf to secure your Advanced Standing into Year 3.
Paid Once
Only when you
activate the pathway.
Not at admission.
Total Investment — RAIN + Pathway Fee + B.Sc. Degree
Complete pathway. Real skills. Real degree. Multiple certifications.
₦12,100,000
💡 For context: A private Nigerian university offering a 4-year B.Sc. in technology can cost anywhere from ₦4M to ₦20M+ — and your child comes out with only the degree. The RAIN pathway costs around ₦12.1M and produces RAIN certification, Meta AI certification, an NUC B.Sc., and published research. That is not a comparison. That is a clear choice.

Three Ways to Enter the Pathway

Depending on where your child is right now, there is a pathway designed for them.

Pathway 1
The Concurrent Track
Train at RAIN full-time while simultaneously taking university foundational modules online. Fastest possible route — no bridge semester needed. Immediate Advanced Standing upon RAIN graduation.
Best for: Motivated students who want the fastest path.
Pathway 2
The Sequential Route
Complete RAIN in full, then do a 6-month bridge semester to clear NUC foundational requirements. Then proceed to Year 3 of the B.Sc. Full focus on technical mastery first.
Best for: Students who want to master RAIN fully before transitioning.
Pathway 3
RAIN Alumni Fast Track
Already a RAIN graduate? Your credentials are evaluated immediately for maximum 24-credit transfer. Direct progression to the Degree Specialisation Phase — no delay.
Best for: Existing RAIN alumni and diploma holders.
